Sad Day. We will soon have to say bye to both Picnik AND Google Friend Connect.
I was about to write a post on how to create your blog header or your own printable entirely on picnik when I received the email that picnic would be closing. I even just created this header ONLY using picnik!!
If you have used Picnik for awhile now (as I have), here are a few tips to get the most out of it until April 19th!!
1. Save your uploaded and edited Photos
So what does this mean if you have a ton of photos stored on Picnik online, as I do?
Picnik has developed Picnik Takeout! This will allow us to easily download our photos to our desktop in convenient zip files. We can also copy your photos to Google+ where we can store and share them.

This is a post I’ve had in draft form for awhile now. Even though it’s not perfect, I would like to share it because it’s filled with many resources I found that help you set up a WordPress site for the first time.
I had been using Blogger for a long time before I made the switch to WordPress. After hearing over and over how WordPress was so great, I decided to take the leap and try it.
At first I was a little overwhelmed by the new structure and didn’t know where to start. After reading that the Atahualpa theme was the most customizeable, I googled something similar to “how to set up atahualpa theme in wordpress” and viola! found a video on youtube which led me to websiterockstars.com. SO helpful!!
I am visual, so seeing the process in video format really helped me get going.
