Moss Globe from My Sister's Suitcase

Hope the month of March has gone well for you! We have one week left, then it’s April! I was definitely getting into everything GREEN this month. Besides all the GREEN pinning I’ve done, I also made a GREEN moss wreath for my front door (come back on Tuesday to see it!)

Some of my favorite pins….

(for all these images, just click on the picture and it will take you to source on Pinterest)

I first started liking GREEN again after having green hydrangeas in my bouquet and my bridesmaids’ bouquets. This is not from my wedding, but I just had to pin these GREEN hydrangeas:

Then, Jen from At Home in the Northwest linked up her spring mantel and I fell in

I dig GREEN Pinterest Party!

I absolutely LOVE Pinterest!! It’s my inspiration for recipes, decor, DIY projects, upcycling, etc! I’m sure you all love Pinterest too. That’s why I wanted to create a Pinterest linky party.

The best part about this is that you don’t have to have a blog to participate!!

I want to see what has inspired you. I’ve created a theme for the month of March – GREEN! What does that mean?

Bring on the GREEN furniture. Bring on the GREEN dress. GREEN heels! GREEN upcycling! GREEN crafts. GREEN food. (By the way, it does not have to be Shamrock related.)

Here’s a sample of what I’ve pinned.

Step 1:

Create a Pin Board (on Pinterest) and name it: I dig GREEN @ Romance on a Dime.

Kitchen Remodel, Organization, & Pinterest Party!!

I dig green button

Hello everyone!!

For those that are new to Romance on a Dime, I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Betsy, still a newlywed (been married since 10/10/10).

I am very goal driven and love to blog about my pursuits, be it cooking, healthy living, organizing, setting goals, upcycling, or trying my hand at DIY projects.

I weekly give you my menu plan and host a blog hop: Take it on Tuesday. I just love seeing all the projects everyone is working on!! I regularly pin my favorites here and feature 5 projects each week. Last Tuesday I talked about the remodeling that was going on in our home.

Today I’m going to show you the before and after of the remodeling process, then tell you about an

exciting Pinterest Party!!

A Pinterest ‘How-to’ (and why I love it!)

I absolutely LOVE Pinterest! I’ve discovered so many new recipes, like:- this 3 ingredient ice cream recipe- easy fruit leather

My fancy new trick on how to mark the perfect placement for the picture frame on the wall came from Pinterest. I have many more tips and tricks I’ve learned through looking at all my friend’s pins, like:- putting marshmallows in brown sugar to keep the sugar soft- how to keep berries from growing moldy- putting newspaper in storage containers to keep it odor-free

Pinterest is a great resource. I cant easily spend a lot of time looking at recipes, ideas, cleaning tips, inspiration, fashion trends, and DIY projects I want to try! Then, instead of bookmarking the site, I can “repin” the picture of what I like (and the link to the original website stays with it). If I’m just browsing the web, I
