Happy Weekend!!
I’m in a book club, and we have the best group of ladies ever!! This last month we wanted to meet and do more than just discuss a book. We wanted to include food, fun, and a little bit of DIY!!
We started planning the food first. I was hosting this meeting and provided vegetable pasta salad. In addition we had a wonderful meal of fruit, bread, Beer cheese, hummus, and plenty of dessert!
Don’t those Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies look delish? They were. I had three of them…
Then there was our Beer Cheese, Hummus, and M&Ms spread out on the coffee table..
DIY Mason Jar Tumblers
Besides food, we thought doing a simple DIY project together would be fun. I think we picked the PERFECT project. It was as easy as 1, 2, 3! (I got the idea from Five 4 Five Meals.)
1.
Drill a hole using a 1/2″ drill bit. Clean edges.
2.
Shove a rubber grommet (size depends on straw) in the hole.
3.
Wash. Add a fancy straw and enjoy!!

Yes, the strawberry dessert was so good. All the food was good that night. The Mason jar tumblers are so easy to make – it was the hit of the night!!
I need to try the mason jar straw tumblers. I thought of making a hole in the lids but never thought about using a rubber grommet. Thanks for the instructions. And thanks for featuring my cobbler this week. Bless you.
