Advent Calendar Boxes
I’m in the middle of a BIG project – making Advent Calendar Boxes!! I got the idea from I Can Teach My Child. LOVE it!! Even though my husband and I don’t have children yet, we love the idea of starting family Christmas traditions now! I’ve been slowly purchasing the items I need to put together these Advent Calendar Boxes.
I purchased the small silver jewelry boxes here. Since you are buying in bulk (100 boxes), they were less than $0.30 each, even with shipping (Price was $20.50 + shipping for 100 boxes)!! I also was able to download the cute Advent Box labels here!!
You can download a word document with each day’s message and idea for what trinket to put in the box for each day. I am going to add ribbons to the items that are not ornaments, in order to make each item one that can hang on our Christmas tree after discussing them. In the future, we may even have one Christmas tree that is for Advent Ornaments only!
Here’s some of the boxes I’ve filled so far:
I have found most of the trinkets from Michael’s and Hobby Lobby! I also purchased this big square decorative box at Hobby Lobby (50% off) to keep all my advent boxes in!
What Christmas projects have you been working on?

Thank you all! I LOVE seeing what you’ve been up to!
