Waddling? - I’m not really sure if I’m waddling or not. I don’t feel like it and no one has mentioned it lately.
Total weight gain/loss? – Gained 1 pound this week, so I’m at a 14 pound gain overall. Doesn’t seem like only 14 pounds when you look at me, does it?
Sleep - Sleep has still be good. Only 2 mornings lately have I woken up early.
Wedding ring on or off? - Still on.
Cravings – Since my husband worked overtime this week and I didn’t have to feed him, I have been eating a lot of homemade convenience food and leftovers – freezer burritos, humus and chips, granola, and then some bad food like ice cream. You could probably say I’ve been craving ice cream this week – and I’ve had a little bit 3 nights.
Best moment last week? - This week we had Christmas in February!! Not only did we finish putting together our 4-in-1 convertible crib this week (thanks again Marmie for finding it and helping us buy it!!), but we also received our pack ‘n play. We are very blessed to have Matt’s Dad and step mom purchase this needed big item. On the pack ‘n play sits a bassinet, which we will keep in our room for the first few months, as baby girl will start of sleeping in the same room as Matt and I.
What I am looking forward to - We have so much in the nursery now. I’m going to prioritize painting the nursery before working on the glider cover. Secondly, we need to sell some things on craigslist so we have room for everything to be put in place in the nursery. Hopefully by mentioning it hear, you can help keep me accountable by actually making progress on those two things this week!
Our little “June Bug’s” Growth
We’ve been taking photos since week 6 and showing a fruit or vegetable in the picture that is the same size as our little “June Bug”. Last week: our little girl was 11.5 inches long and over 1 pound in weight (grapefruit). This week: 12.5 inches long (supposed to be an ear of corn, but couldn’t find any at the store, so I have a cucumber) and 1 pound, 4 ounces in weight. My uterus is the size of a soccer ball!! Can you see it?
