Menu Plan Monday: Sourdough Stuffing and Thanksgiving leftovers

Now that I’ve officially announced that I’m pregnant, I’m probably going to be using that excuses for many things. Especially since I’m in the first trimester still, it’s VERY hard to menu plan when you are nauseated and many meals you look at don’t sound appealing. It’s been hard to menu plan.

So I planned on posting about the Sourdough stuffing, but I think I’ll show you just a few pictures I took. This is what cooking for Thanksgiving looks like when you are pregnant – semi-messy table and cutting everything sitting down (with a pillow propped behind you):

I also have been a LOT clumsier lately:

Menu Plan

Monday: leftover Easy Lasagna Soup - SO good!! (from Semi Homemade Mom)

Tuesday: Crockpot BBQ Chicken

Lunches

leftover Thanksgiving turkey and sides!

Prep

- make Homemade Whole Wheat Bread

- make Freezer Bean and Cheese Burritos

I’ll have to plan the rest later. I’m pretty tired and nauseated and don’t feel like going through recipes to pick something. I probably will see what we can survive on out of pantry and make spaghetti one night. Then I will think about shopping Wednesday. The next two days will be busy!

What are you planning this week? I’d love to check out your menu for inspiration. Just leave a comment and a link to your post!!

  • I haven’t made my meal plan yet. I think I’m still recovering from cooking all day On Thanksgiving and slim the prep that goes into that. I’m wiped out! However I did make a list if the things that came up that I wanted to remember for next Thanksgiving.
Hope you get some rest today!
