WOW!! I’m so impressed by how many people linked up last week. Thanks everyone! I really enjoyed looking at all your projects and I ended up pinning 22 of those projects onto my favorites board last week! We had 42 people link up last week. If you missed it, I would definitely check it out!
If I had to narrow it down, here are my 4 favorites from last week:
Katie’s {Blah 2 Beautiful} Oscar de la Renta Headphone Knock-offs. I loved that this was a unique project. These are just so adorable and seemed pretty easy to make!
{Green Willow Pond} Purse Organizer. Love this idea of making organizers to put in a big purse!
Jessica’s {The Frugal Townie} DIY Cleaning Solvents and Laundry Tips
Vanessa’s {Our Thrifty Ideas} Cupid’s Mix. This looks SOO good, I want to try it!
Hand-painted Ceramic Mug
In Lawrence we have a painting and pottery store – Sunfire Ceramics. LOVE it! You can chose your own unfinished pottery to paint (they have everything ranging from a piggybank, picture frames, soap pumps, to cups, plates, and bowls that are microwave and dishwasher safe.
Once you have picked your unfinished pottery all you have to do is design your creation (they have a variety of stamps, stencils, paints, and glazes) and get to work painting!
I couldn’t have gotten my creative juices flowing without my bff!! Plus, this experience and the creation she made was also a Christmas gift to her from me.
It took me awhile to decide what I wanted to paint… and then to decided what I wanted to paint on it…
I finally decided on a mug (which actually comes with a lid!!) and chose white, and aqua blue paints. For the inside I used an aqua glittery glaze, then quickly got to work on the outside of the mug.
Here is the pre-finished work! It still has yet to be fired (it takes several days for them to get through all the creations). The colors will be a lot bolder after it has been fired and they’ve put a protective glaze on it.
I can’t wait to get the finished mug. Next week I’ll show you all the finished product!!

Thank you so much for featuring my purse organizer! I wish I could offer a pattern, but it was very individualized and I would recommend a pattern instead.

I understand. I’m sure there are patterns out there. I just love how you show off each of the features of the organizer in your post. The pictures are great and inspire me to try something similar.
Very cute features from last week! Looking forward to seeing all of the creativity posted this week.

You are very welcome!
My linky page on my blog got weird and I tried to repost your button to this party and the art does not come through. I am going to try again later. Just wanted to let you know I had some difficulties.
